Endoscopy Unit, Lincoln County Hospital

Introduction

Welcome to the public consultation page for United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust’s proposal to erect a new endoscopy unit at Lincoln County Hospital, Lincoln.

A planning application for this proposal is due to be submitted to the City of Lincoln Council planning department shortly, and we are providing you with the opportunity to view and comment on the proposed development in advance of the submission.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust value the imput of the local community and would welcome your comments on the proposals. Details of how to comment are provided below.

The site

The site relates to land within the existing established Lincoln County Hospital complex. The site currently comprises a car park and storage area to the west of the hospital site. The site contains areas of car parking along with rows of shipping containers used for storage. The site is accessed from St Anne’s Road.

The Proposal

The proposals seeks to erect a new endoscopy unit which will replace the existing temporary endoscopy unit at the hospital. This development willl deliver high quality care for patients, whilst also providing increased capacity for endoscopy procedures.

The endoscopy unit itself will be located on the ground floor, with a smaller plant room located on the first floor.

The development proposals will bring support in delivering fit for purpose endoscopy facilities at the hospital for the local community.
